How to Use Baby Foot®

Patch Test

A patch test is recommended 2 days before using Baby Foot®.

Make a small cut in the corner of a Baby Foot® bootie pack and apply a small amount of the gel to the instep of your foot. Leave it for the period of time instructed on the Baby Foot® pack. Seal off the bootie pack immediately after opening to avoid exposure to the air.

Wash the patch tested area with soap after the required time has lapsed.

Cease using Baby Foot® if any redness, swelling, itchiness, eczema, or inflammation of the skin occurs within 48 hours of application.

Baby Foot Application

1. Prior to using Baby Foot®, soak feet in water to soften the skin. This allows the gel to be effectively absorbed into the skin and to activate the Baby Foot® formula. Dry feet and then begin the application process. Cut along the dotted line of the plastic Baby Foot® bootie pack and place your foot in the pack. Secure pack with attached adhesive tape as indicated. Repeat for the second foot. To increase absorption of the Baby Foot® gel, wear a pair of socks over the Baby Foot® packs for the duration of the treatment.

2. Leave sock packs on for the required time to allow the gel to be absorbed.

3. Remove the Baby Foot® bootie packs and wash feet gently with soap and water. Water activates Baby Foot®. Saturate feet daily for effective peeling to occur.

For best results please follow the steps above and the tips below.
  • Remove nail polish from toe-nails before applying a Baby Foot® treatment.
  • Wet feet thoroughly. This will soften the skin thus allowing maximum penetration of the gel.
  • Cut along the dotted line and place your foot in the bootie pack. Repeat for the second foot.
  • Secure Baby Foot® bootie packs with supplied adhesive tape as indicated above.
  • Soak feet in the gel for the period of time instructed on the back of your Baby Foot® pack to allow the gel to be absorbed.
  • Place a pair of socks over the Baby Foot® bootie pack and leave on for the period of time instructed on the packaging of your Baby Foot® product/treatment.
  • After completing the treatment for the recommended duration, remove the packs and wash feet gently with soap.
  • Soak your feet in water daily to activate the peeling process. This is essential - water activates Baby Foot®

Quicker foot peels often contain harsher chemicals and so while speeding up the exfoliation process, they can be damaging to your skin. Baby Foot® Original Exfoliant Foot Peels take the healthier route and allow your body to shed its dead cells when they have been released correctly, at a cellular level.

You will not notice any immediate changes in your feet immediately after treatment. Dead skin cells will start to peel between 2 and 7 days after initial application. Do not forcibly remove dead skin cells when peeling begins. Peeling amount and time may vary from person to person and peeling can take 1 - 3 weeks to finish. If your feet have a dry skin build-up, we recommend a second application of Baby Foot® 4 weeks after the first application.
